Chemical Exposure
Employees can be exposed to
chemicals in the workplace in a number of situations. Most employers are careful
to warn employees of the hazards of chemical exposure, to limit the amount of
time that employees are exposed to hazardous chemicals, and to provide safety
equipment to further limit their employees’ exposure to hazardous chemicals.
Other employers are not as careful with their employees’ health, and sometimes,
even in the best run facility, accidents happen which result in chemical
exposure.
Chemical exposure can also
happen outside of the workplace. From the industrial plant that sends toxins
into the air and water, to common household cleaners that are later found to be
dangerous, there are chemicals that we come into contact with on a daily basis
that can cause you personal injuries.
The news has been filled in the
last few years with stories of the many illnesses that can be caused by chemical
exposure. Mesothelioma, a form of cancer that comes from exposure to asbestos,
is one of the best known. But there are a variety of cancers, skin diseases, and
respiratory illnesses, such as asthma, that can also result from exposure to
different chemicals.
Whether you have been injured
by an accidental or a deliberate exposure to chemicals, you deserve to be
compensated for the injuries you have received as a result. I have the
experience and knowledge to help you find those who are responsible and then
make them pay for that responsibility.
The initial consultation is
free and in most cases, you won’t pay anything unless you recover money damages.
If your injuries are severe enough that it would be a hardship for you to come
into the office, let me know where you are and I will come to you. I’m always
available to answer your questions about your case.
