I have lived in Ascension Parish my entire life.
I graduated from Ascension Catholic High School and from Louisiana State
University, where I received a B.S. degree in Finance. I continued my education
at Loyola School of Law in New Orleans, receiving a Juris Doctor degree in 1988.
I returned to Ascension Parish after law school to begin my legal career.
My professional
associations include memberships in the 23rd Judicial District Bar
Association, the Baton Rouge Bar Association, the Louisiana Trial Lawyers
Association, and the Louisiana State Bar Association. I am licensed to practice
in all state and federal courts in Louisiana.
I organized and taught
classes at The People’s Law School in Donaldsonville, Louisiana, and assisted as
coach for Ascension Catholic High School in the 23rd Judicial
District Mock Trail Competition.
I am married to Courtney
Capone Sotile and the father of four children, Virginia, Anna Claire, Thomas,
and Matthew. I am a member of and attend Healing Place Church in Baton Rouge,
Louisiana.
I see my law practice as
an extension of my community activities. It is a chance for me to use my skills
to help people. I would like to help you with your legal issues as well.
