I have lived in Ascension Parish my entire life. I graduated from Ascension Catholic High School and from Louisiana State University, where I received a B.S. degree in Finance. I continued my education at Loyola School of Law in New Orleans, receiving a Juris Doctor degree in 1988. I returned to Ascension Parish after law school to begin my legal career.

My professional associations include memberships in the 23^rd Judicial District Bar Association, the Baton Rouge Bar Association, the Louisiana Trial Lawyers Association, and the Louisiana State Bar Association. I am licensed to practice in all state and federal courts in Louisiana.

I organized and taught classes at The People’s Law School in Donaldsonville, Louisiana, and assisted as coach for Ascension Catholic High School in the 23^rd Judicial District Mock Trail Competition.

I am married to Courtney Capone Sotile and the father of four children, Virginia, Anna Claire, Thomas, and Matthew. I am a member of and attend Healing Place Church in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

I see my law practice as an extension of my community activities. It is a chance for me to use my skills to help people. I would like to help you with your legal issues as well.
